Salary: Academic starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience as detailed in the collective agreement for academic employees.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be required to teach courses in the School of Engineering programs within the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology.
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering course materials based on learning outcomes that are supplied to you for specific courses. You will also administer assessments in a timely fashion and submit grades. The incumbent will teach, develop curriculum, design/revise specific courses, create an effective and innovative learning environment for our students, assess student progress and achievement; work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in committees and related associations.

Education
The successful candidate will have one of the following qualifications:
313D or 313A license with 5 years of experience.
G2 ( Gas Technician 2 License) with 5 years of work experience with their G2.
ODP License
Experience/Skills
The successful candidate must have polytechnic post-secondary teaching experience, or equivalent experience as a trainer in industry. In addition, the successful candidate will have engaging and effective teaching skills, demonstrated ability to coach and support students, demonstrated experience managing classroom dynamics, strong knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles, a student-focused approach and a demonstrated commitment to fostering innovation and positive change.
