Associate Pastor English Ministry

Position: Associate Pastor for English Ministry
Lead in evangelism and discipleship as an Associate Pastor with Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church. Connect with the community and support church leadership in shaping lives through God's Word.

This role at SCBC requires a leader passionate about building an intergenerational church. With 3-5 years of ministry experience, your focus will be teaching, developing leaders, and fostering community growth. You will collaborate with senior pastors and nurture vibrant faith among the congregation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Pastor in vision and teaching leadership

• Engage in regular preaching and teaching with sound doctrine

• Commit to prayer ministry in congregational life

• Collaborate with lay leaders for community building

• Supervise ministerial teams and support volunteer recruitment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of ministry experience required

• Master Degree of Divinity or equivalent theological education

• Proficient in English;
Cantonese/Mandarin a plus

• Strong pastoral care and servant-leadership skills

• Ability to think strategically in ministry contexts
