Drive success for Indigenous students in a full-time role at Humber College. As the Indigenous Student Success Coordinator, you will enhance educational experiences through culturally rooted initiatives.
This key position involves working closely with Indigenous students from application through graduation, ensuring a supportive and inclusive academic environment. You will develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs that cater to the unique needs of Indigenous learners, promoting retention and success across both North and Lakeshore campuses. Collaborate with a diverse team to connect students to essential resources and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development of culturally grounded educational programs
• Guide students to appropriate campus supports and resources
• Organize events and workshops for Indigenous communities
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders for success
• Measure and assess program outcomes and adjustments
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in Indigenous Studies or similar
• Minimum 5 years in student support with Indigenous focus
• Proven understanding of Indigenous histories and challenges
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with tools for program development and evaluation
