308H1. Teach 40 students in a dynamic, in-person setting from January to May 2027.

The Faculty of Arts & Science seeks candidates with a PhD in Religion or a related field. This role emphasizes teaching and facilitating discussions that explore the religious landscapes shaped by immigrants. Applicants should demonstrate teaching experience and a thorough understanding of the subject area. Duties include creating a syllabus, leading weekly classes, and grading assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an engaging syllabus and course structure

• Present weekly lectures in a collaborative environment

• Assess and grade student papers and exams

• Hold regular office hours for student assistance

• Oversee additional educational responsibilities

Requirements:

• PhD in Religion or closely related area

• Capacity to engage with course themes

• Teaching experience as TA or instructor beneficial

• Strong knowledge of migration and religion

• Ability to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
