The University of Toronto invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach a graduate level course from September to December 2026. The course focuses on Canada's health system and the impact of digital health policies, requiring expertise in policy development and stakeholder engagement. Candidates with a PhD or Master's degree and experience in teaching health informatics are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach MHI
2021H using competency-based assessment methods

• Provide support and guidance to students outside class hours

• Schedule and deliver online synchronous sessions

• Develop course material and curriculum related to health informatics

• Facilitate engaging discussions on digital health policies

Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in health informatics or policy

• Strong understanding of national and provincial digital policies

• Past graduate-level teaching experience

• Proficient with electronic teaching tools and platforms

• Willingness to be available evenings and weekends
