Join the Anne and Max Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto (Tanenbaum
CHAT) as a Jewish Studies Teacher. This role is ideal for educators who have a commitment to Jewish education and a desire to engage teenagers in their learning. Ideal candidates will have an OCT certification or equivalent, ensuring they align with our educational ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach subjects including Ivrit, Israeli History, and Rabbinics
• Inspire students through dynamic lesson plans and active engagement
• Support students' academic and personal growth in a Jewish context
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
• Participate in community events and school initiatives
Requirements:
• OCT certification or equivalent preferred
• Passion for teaching teenagers in a vibrant setting
• Fluency in Ivrit is strongly preferred
• Commitment to Tanenbaum
CHAT's ethos
