Join CAMH as a Simulation Specialist, focusing on equitable and trauma-informed educational practices. Lead innovative simulations that enhance training for healthcare professionals.
In this full-time, temporary role, you will develop and facilitate simulation education programs at CAMH and partner sites. Your work will hone in on interprofessional collaboration, curriculum innovation, and best practices, ensuring high-quality training for diverse healthcare teams. You'll also foster relationships rooted in anti-oppressive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize adult learning principles in education delivery
• Develop asynchronous simulations for diverse audiences
• Coordinate educational events and learner evaluations
• Engage with experts in healthcare and education
• Stay updated on simulation trends and technologies
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in healthcare, education, or similar
• Three years’ experience in simulation education
• Understanding of equity in educational practices
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Preferred experience in high fidelity simulation
