Panda Mandarin Language Programs is committed to creating a world of connections through learning that is FUN, ENGAGING, and AUTHENTIC for all students, no matter what age or skill level. We offer a variety of Mandarin & Cantonese classes for children both virtually and at three locations across the Greater Toronto Area. We are a Toronto-based company with a North American reach, and our teachers are trained with a focus on the needs of students in the US and Canada.
Our programs are highly interactive through storytelling, music, games, and art, and also have a strong focus on practical applications of Mandarin & Cantonese. Our students are well supported by a highly qualified teaching team as well as modern content & tools to help them stay engaged outside the classroom. Our collaborative team delivers a quality language program that creates a warm and holistic learning experience where parents and students feel a sense of connection and support.

- Fluent in Mandarin and English – reading, speaking, and writing Simplified Chinese/pinyin.
- 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- High energy, creative, and great with young children.
- Flexible work schedule – weekend availability required, with possible after-school times.
- Ability to speak Cantonese is a bonus.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Teaching experience of at least 2 years (preferred).
- Mandarin language required, English preferred.
- Review lesson materials, deliver fun and engaging Mandarin lessons to children from 2-12 years old in in-person class settings, and support outside of classroom learning by uploading audio, video, and photos of lesson materials.
- Note progress and feedback for students to help them advance and improve their Mandarin language learning.
- Work with an enthusiastic and supportive team with opportunities to develop and improve our curriculum and career advancement.
- Represent Panda Mandarin and engage with parents who may participate in the class with their child or come to pick-up/drop-off.
Job Type: Part time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
