The University of Toronto is searching for a Sessional Lecturer to instruct SOC
263H5F for the Fall 2026 term. Candidates should possess a PhD in Sociology or a similar field, with a proven teaching record in related subjects. Responsibilities include course design, content delivery, assignment grading, and supervising teaching assistants, along with maintaining regular office hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver course content on social inequalities

• Administer and grade assignments, tests, and exams

• Calculate and submit student grades accurately

• Hold regular office hours for student support

• Supervise assigned TA’s and manage course materials

Requirements:

• PhD in Sociology or related discipline
