Enhance student success at the University of Toronto as a Coordinator for Student Placements. This role prioritizes relationship-building with students, employers, and community partners while focusing on career coaching.
You will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and provide critical support for student placement within the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. The key responsibilities include advising students on resumes, interview preparation, and employer expectations. You’ll also coordinate workshops and maintain essential databases for student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster relationships with students and employers for placements
• Coordinate tracking of student applications and recruitment activities
• Advise students on career-related matters and resources
• Develop workshops and presentations for career development
• Maintain accurate placement-related records and databases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum four years of experience in student placements
• Experience advising students on career-related issues
• Strong technical skills in MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
