Graduate Program Advisor at University

Provide essential support for graduate students as a MSc/PhD Advisor at the University of Toronto. Engage with students throughout their journey, from application to graduation.

As the MSc/PhD Advisor, you will facilitate the daily operations within the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering. You will guide and assist students in understanding program requirements and deadlines while monitoring their academic progress.

Your role will also involve managing scholarships and financial aid processes to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise students on program requirements and options

• Provide detailed course eligibility and policy information

• Track and monitor scholarship distribution

• Approve awards based on established criteria

• Monitor student degree progress and graduation eligibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum three years in graduate administration

• Proficient with student information systems

• Knowledge of graduate academic policies

• Strong communication and customer service skills
