Overview Piano Instructor Opportunity – Inspire Students Through Music. Are you passionate about helping others discover the joy of piano? On The Off Beat Music School is seeking a dedicated and engaging piano teacher to join our faculty this fall.
About Us On The Off Beat is a vibrant east-end Toronto music school built by active performing musicians. We’re all about creativity, community, and high-quality teaching. Our goal is to provide a supportive setting where both teachers and students feel encouraged and inspired.
Position Details We’re looking for an experienced piano teacher to begin in September. Teaching days include Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You’ll be working with students of all ages and skill levels in our welcoming studio space.
What We Provide Great Facilities – Well-maintained studios featuring upright and grand pianos
Strong Compensation – Starting at $37/hour, with potential for higher rates based on experience and qualifications
Flexible Scheduling – We understand many of our teachers are also performing musicians and respect that balance
What We’re Looking For A degree in music (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 4 years teaching experience
Strong communication skills and an engaging, positive teaching style
Ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels
