Teaching Assistant at Chinese School

Engage and inspire young learners as a Teaching Assistant at our vibrant Chinese School in North York. This volunteer role focuses on interactive activities and supportive classroom dynamics.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant for our North York campus from September 2026 to June 2027. Your responsibilities will include supervising group activities and assisting teachers during lessons. Additionally, you'll help with meal support, clean-up for camp, and communicate effectively with staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise group activities to encourage participation

• Assist teachers with implementing lessons

• Provide assistance during meal and snack times

• Set up and clean up for camp activities

• Facilitate roll call and help with dismissal

Requirements:

• Open to adults and Grade 9 students

• Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin languages

• Strong ability to follow instructions

• Patient and enjoys working with children

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
