As a Residence Standards and Care Advisor, you will engage with students living in Residence by implementing the Code of Student Community Standards. Providing holistic support, your responsibilities include educating the community, addressing student behavior, and collaborating with various departments. This full-time, temporary position plays a vital part in promoting student success and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Code of Student Community Standards effectively
• Provide support during critical incidents involving students
• Collaborate across departments for student initiatives
• Educate the Residence community on wellness and standards
• Address student behavior through restorative practices
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years experience in post-secondary settings
• At least 3 years in a residence environment
• Strong knowledge of anti-oppressive frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
