As a pivotal part of recruitment activities, the Student Recruitment Assistant will deliver compelling presentations about AMPD programs and academic offerings. You’ll coordinate school visits, manage outreach initiatives, and act as a key liaison for students and educators. Your efforts will directly contribute to attracting diverse talent to York University's distinguished arts programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver dynamic recruitment presentations in secondary schools
• Schedule and coordinate school visits and outreach initiatives
• Distribute recruitment material effectively to schools
• Serve as a liaison for students, counsellors, and parents
• Support major recruitment events like Ontario Universities Fair
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent work experience
• One year related experience in public relations or customer service
• Effective public speaking and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Ontario’s university admission processes
