Program Coordinator, Advertising Copywriting Graduate Certificate
Duration of Need:
Three‑year term beginning September 1, 2026.

Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design.

Location:
Humber’s Downtown Campus (in‑person).
Program Coordinator Allowance:
An allowance as per Article 14.03 A 3 of the Academic Collective Agreement, paid in addition to the successful candidate’s salary as a Professor.
The Program Coordinator will contribute to curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment of student progress and achievement, as well as managing classes. The successful candidate is expected to establish an effective learning environment and work collaboratively as a team member. The role includes active student advising, recruitment, and graduate placement, developing community partnerships, and participation in Humber Polytechnic and departmental committees to advance initiatives.
Responsibilities also cover promotion and marketing of the program and maintaining strong industry ties.
Education
:
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience & Skills
:
- Full‑time Professor with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
- Well‑developed interpersonal communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability in curriculum development and delivery.
- Engaging and effective teaching skills, coaching and supporting students.
- Experience managing classroom dynamics.
- Strong knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles.
- Student‑focused approach and commitment to innovation and positive change.
- Commitment and knowledge of equity and inclusion principles.
- Collaborative team player committed to a positive team culture.
