Elevate educational standards as a Curriculum Specialist with Advocis in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on managing curriculum content quality for financial planning professionals.
The Curriculum Specialist will report to the Senior Director, Education, and play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and relevance of Advocis’ educational programs. You will work closely with subject-matter experts to ensure up-to-date content, analyze examination questions, and guide candidates through their learning process using robust technical explanations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update curriculum content regularly
• Review textbook chapters and resource materials for accuracy
• Analyze multiple-choice questions using statistical methods
• Deliver national webinars on financial planning topics
• Monitor industry trends and recommend curriculum improvements
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in financial planning or related fields
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning or advisory roles
• Proven ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
• Strong writing and Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Experience with LMS platforms and virtual presentations
