Become a Residence Standards and Care Advisor at Humber Polytechnic, a full-time, on-site role focused on student wellness and community standards. Support student success and accountability in residence through collaboration and leadership.
In this vital role, you will work under the Manager, Student Connection and Community Care, emphasizing a respectful and inclusive environment. You will implement the Code of Student Community Standards while addressing student behavior and coordinating support during critical incidents for campus residents. Your contributions will enhance student learning and compassionate accountability in a dynamic academic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement student community standards within residence life
• Educate and support students living in residence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for incident response
• Maintain confidential records related to student issues
• Conduct interviews and investigations related to student behavior
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years in a post-secondary environment
• Experience in student behavior investigation techniques
• Strong knowledge of student rights and responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
