Shape the future of healthcare education at The Michener Institute as an Assistant Professor in Radiation Therapy. This Full-Time position emphasizes teaching and student guidance while fostering a learning-focused environment.
In this Contract position, you will engage students in practical laboratory sessions and provide valuable insights into Radiation Therapy.
Your role will include advising students on academic matters and contributing to curriculum development to enhance educational outcomes. Collaboration and critical thinking will be key elements as you oversee project work and evaluate student performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver hands-on laboratory and practical session instruction
• Advise and guide students in their academic journey
• Encourage collaborative and critical thinking skills
• Evaluate and provide feedback on assessments and projects
• Actively participate in scholarship and research initiatives
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree and diploma
• Good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
• At least 2 years in Radiation Therapy practice
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Required Canadian Police Clearance upon hiring
