Part Time | Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

As a Teacher‑Tutor at Oxford Learning, you will work with elementary students in reading, writing, math, and French, and with high school students in math (through Calculus), physics, chemistry, biology, and English. All lessons are pre‑planned so you can focus on teaching.

• Teach up to 3 students at a time in elementary grades (up to 2 in grades 9‑12).
• Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete daily student communication updates and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour, creating a fun learning environment.

• Availability during after‑school and evening hours (3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
• Commitment through the 2026-27 school year (end June 30) with the possibility of continuing through summer.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Third‑year university students with tutoring experience considered.
• Working towards or holding a teaching certification is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current K‑12 curriculum.

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at the K‑12 level (or equivalent).
• Strong English written and oral communication skills; ability to guide students’ understanding.
• Ability to teach French is highly desired.
• Ability to multitask and manage up to three students simultaneously.

• Evenings, Monday to Friday.
• Saturday availability.
