Explore a pivotal role as a Placement Coordinator at the University of Toronto’s Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. This position supports student placements through coordination and relationship management, fostering connections with experiential sites.

As the Placement Coordinator, you will operate under the Office of Experiential Education, playing a critical role in students’ practical learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include guiding students on placement requirements and maintaining relations with preceptors and site representatives. The opportunity allows you to contribute to significant curriculum renewals while ensuring effective communication and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and foster relationships with experiential education sites

• Draft and distribute written materials and updates for students

• Facilitate detailed information sessions on procedures and expectations

• Provide updates regarding rotation changes and documentation

• Coordinate and maintain compliance with all student placement records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; 3 years of experience

• Background in co-operative education or experiential learning

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage complex scheduling and databases

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting tools
