Join Study Spot as an Academic Coach in Toronto to empower middle and high school students. Provide targeted academic support by enhancing skills in organization, time management, and effective study techniques.
As an Academic Coach with Study Spot, you will work one-on-one with students to improve their executive and academic skills, helping them achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities include teaching essential organization techniques, reading, writing, and test preparation strategies. Coaching sessions primarily occur in libraries across the Greater Toronto Area, with some virtual options available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach organization, time management, and planning
• Enhance students' note-taking and writing skills
• Prepare students for tests and exams
• Conduct coaching sessions in-person or virtually
• Support students with ADHD and learning challenges
Requirements:
• Strong academic background;
Master’s preferred
• Experience in Academic Coaching or similar roles
• Familiarity with ADHD and learning challenges
• Background in Psychology, Education, or STEM preferred
• Availability for after-school and weekend sessions
