The University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science invites qualified candidates to apply for a Sessional Lecturer position for WGS
376H1F. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. with a focus on gender and sexuality studies, and preferably have prior university-level teaching experience. You'll develop course materials, lead lectures, and engage with diverse student perspectives while holding regular office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare syllabus and lecture materials for WGS
376H1F
• Develop and oversee course assignments and assessments
• Manage communications with students through email and Quercus
• Hold regular office hours for student support
• Supervise TAs or graders, if applicable
Requirements:
• Completed Ph.D. in relevant field
• University teaching experience in similar courses
• Expertise in queer/trans migration is an asset
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in academia
• Willingness to adapt to changes in course delivery
