In addition, the Program Specialist oversees participant wellness and logistics, facilitates regular check‑ins and programming, supports relationships with the schools and wider school communities, and helps create meaningful leadership, educational, and community engagement opportunities.

Professional Mentoring – Guide and support the B’not Sherut in developing and implementing engaging educational initiatives that strengthen Hebrew language learning and immersion within early childhood and day school settings at partner schools.
Team Collaboration – Participate in regular team meetings to address mentoring challenges and committee dynamics.
Program Oversight – Plan and coordinate the annual B’not Sherut interview and selection process.
Logistical Management – Manage all program logistical needs, including transportation, vulnerable checks, OHIP, stipends, winter clothing, etc.
Housing and Wellness Coordination – Oversee and support the B’not Sherut’s independent living arrangements, including housing logistics, day‑to‑day wellness, and ongoing support to ensure a safe, positive, and successful year in Toronto.
Progress Reporting – Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the donor.
Qualifications

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, relationship‑building, and communication skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Hebrew required.

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and partner organizations.
Advanced computer proficiency.
Deep knowledge of Israeli society and strong familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community.
