Position: Assistant Teacher (Level 3) - Leaside Campus
Become an integral part of the Spirit of Math Leaside team as a Level 3 Assistant Teacher. This part-time position fosters student growth through direct instructional support and classroom engagement.
In this role, you will gain valuable experience in teaching while supporting lesson delivery and assisting students academically. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, along with a passion for education and strong communication abilities. You will facilitate group activities, assist struggling students, and ensure seamless classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-assigned classroom activities and drills

• Support the Primary Teacher by maintaining classroom flow

• Assist in marking and preparation of lesson materials

• Provide feedback on student progress to the Primary Teacher

• Help update student records in Brightspace
Requirements:

• 18+ years old and hold a Bachelor’s Degree

• Completion of mandatory vulnerability checks

• Ability to commit to regular part-time shifts

• Professional classroom conduct is required

• Experience in supporting diverse learners
