Faculty, Radiation Therapy Program

Position: Full-Time Faculty, Radiation Therapy Program
Assist in shaping future healthcare professionals at The Michener Institute as a Full-Time Faculty member in the Radiation Therapy Program. Focus on delivering high-quality education and practical skills to students.

This contract position involves teaching, mentoring, and evaluating students in Radiation Therapy.

Your role will require fostering critical thinking and collaboration among students while guiding their academic progress. Additionally, you will be involved in curriculum design and contribute to ongoing research practices within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct practical, simulation, and online teaching sessions

• Mentorship for students on projects and progression    

• Assess student performance with timely feedback

• Set and submit final course grades

• Participate in relevant research and scholarship activities

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with a diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years’ Radiation Therapy experience

• Good standing registration with professional organization

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Submit Canadian Police Clearance upon hiring
