This casual position is perfect for those aspiring to improve their cataloguing skills within a historical library context. The role tasks volunteers with entering data into the InMagic system, checking original materials for accuracy, and ensuring subject headings are current. A minimum commitment of 7 hours weekly is needed for at least two months starting from July 6, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Input cataloguing data into the Archives library database
• Clarify information by reviewing original library materials
• Verify and update subject headings and naming authorities
Requirements:
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience with databases is preferred
• Availability to volunteer 7 hours weekly
