Training Officer

Position: Training Officer at Elections Ontario
Become a key player in training and business processes at Elections Ontario. This temporary role focuses on developing and delivering training programs for crucial electoral events.

In this position, you will work under the Manager of Business Processes and Training, where your influence shapes the training landscape. Your responsibilities will span writing and publishing content, collaborating with experts to assess training needs, and designing both classroom and e-learning programs. This role is essential for ensuring that stakeholders are fully prepared and knowledgeable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and publish training content in a CMS

• Conduct training needs assessments with subject matter experts

• Design and develop engaging learning resources

• Deliver training programs to diverse stakeholders

• Update and maintain training materials as necessary

Requirements:

• Proven experience in training program development

• Exceptional writing and editing skills

• Proficiency in content management systems and Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of adult learning principles

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset
