Kingsway Baptist Church ESL Leader Position

Join Kingsway Baptist Church in Etobicoke as the ESL Program Leader. This part-time role focuses on creating a Bible-centered English program for newcomers, fostering meaningful connections.
As a dedicated leader with ESL teaching experience, you will manage the development and implementation of the program tailored for students adapting to a new life in Canada. This includes effective volunteer management and student assessments. You will report to the Outreach Volunteer Leader, with opportunities for contract renewal based on mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the ESL program's scope and operations

• Create and oversee a Bible-integrated English curriculum

• Train and supervise volunteer instructors

• Conduct assessments to ensure proper student placement

• Maintain relationships with church staff and community organizations
Requirements:

• Extensive ESL teaching background with certification

• Proven program administration experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Familiarity with student assessments and management software

• A profession of Christian faith is required
