Join our team as a Summer EFL Teacher! Inspire high school students with interactive English lessons and cultural excursions at a university campus in North York, ON.
In this position, you will instruct students in English as a Foreign Language using a prescriptive curriculum while maintaining an engaging and supportive classroom environment. Responsibilities include conducting placement assessments, administering tests, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth educational experience. Availability for morning classes from July 17 to July 28 is crucial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach dynamic EFL language classes
• Nurture an inclusive and positive learning space
• Conduct assessments to evaluate proficiency
• Organize testing and manage classroom details
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager and other educators
Requirements:
• Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory
• University degree; TESOL/ESL certificate or Master’s preferred
• Preferred experience in EFL/ESL teaching
• Skilled in handling multicultural classroom dynamics
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
