Environmental Impact Assessment Lecturer

The University of Toronto Scarborough is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for Environmental Impact Assessment and Auditing courses. You will work with approximately 120 students, utilizing your PhD or MSc in Environmental Science to foster their understanding of socio-economic impacts and auditing systems. Responsibilities include preparing lectures, coordinating TAs, and submitting grades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course materials and deliver engaging lectures
• Manage grading and student evaluations through Quercus
• Supervise TAs and maintain communication with students
• Ensure safety during field activities and coordinate technical support
• Create assignments and assessments to evaluate student progress
Requirements:
• PhD or MSc in Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of post-secondary teaching experience
• Knowledge of environmental risk assessment and auditing
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to address diverse student needs
