Join the Faculty of Arts & Science rge campus as a Sessional Lecturer for RLG
308H1:
Migration, Religion and City Spaces. Lead in-person classes for 40 students from January through May 2027.
The successful applicant will possess a PhD in Religion or a related discipline, along with the ability to cover course themes effectively. This role demands previous teaching experience and a rich understanding of the subject matter. Responsibilities include the creation and presentation of lectures, providing evaluations, and maintaining student engagement through office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a detailed course syllabus for RLG
308H1
• Conduct weekly in-person lectures and discussions
• Assess student assignments and tests
• Offer office hours to support students
• Handle pedagogical and administrative duties regularly
Requirements:
• A PhD in Religion or related field is required
• Skill in addressing relevant course themes
• Demonstrated teaching experience is preferred
• Expertise in migration and religion is desirable
• Strong commitment to student education and support
