Position: Teaching Role in Web Programming
Shape future web developers at the University as a Sessional Lecturer in Programming on the Web. Engage with students by delivering in-person lectures and overseeing course operations for CSC
309H1S.

The role requires a qualified instructor to teach web programming concepts to approximately 120 students across two sections. Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Computer Science and exhibit considerable expertise in the topic area. Strong interpersonal skills are vital for maintaining effective communication with students and gaining approval for course content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging in-person lectures in a timely manner

• Maintain the course website and develop assessments

• Offer office hours and other contact time for students

• Supervise TA activities related to the course

• Oversee grading processes and ensure feedback delivery

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or similar

• Documented teaching experience or industry expertise

• Effective organizational and communication abilities

• Evidence of excellence in teaching preferred

• Commitment to equity and inclusion in education
