The University of Toronto is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Sessional Lecturer for the Capstone Seminar focused on Security. Candidates should have a graduate degree in global affairs or a related field with expertise in security studies.

Your role involves collaborating with students and clients to analyze current challenges while engaging in practical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the syllabus for the course

• Conduct one 3-hour lecture weekly

• Hold weekly office hours for student support

• Prepare and grade assignments and tests

• Submit grades promptly at course end

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in global affairs or equivalent

• Ability to leverage professional connections for clients

• Professional experience is preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to diversity and inclusive education

Lead a vital seminar enhancing students' analytical skills and global understanding within the Faculty of Arts & Science.
