This sessional position for the course CTL
7013H emphasizes Visual Arts Education for students in grades 4 to 10. Successful candidates will prepare lessons, evaluate student work, and support learners between classes. A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is essential, alongside mastery in the subject matter and teaching excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and teach the graduate Visual Arts course
• Organize lessons based on Ministry curriculum
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback
• Attend course planning meetings with the instructional team
• Be available for student assistance outside class hours
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline
• Mastery in the Visual Arts subject matter
• Excellent teaching and online engagement skills
• Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles
• Ontario Teaching certificate is an asset
