2000HS Capstone Seminar at the University of Toronto. This sessional lecturer role focuses on global development, teaching interactions, and real-world client projects.
As a sessional lecturer, you will guide graduate students in teamwork and problem-solving within the context of global economics and institutions. Expect to develop course syllabi, deliver weekly lectures, and provide academic support through office hours. Leveraging your professional connections will enhance students' learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop course syllabus aligned with learning goals
• Conduct one 3-hour lecture each week
• Provide weekly office hours for student support
• Create, grade, and deliver assignments and tests
• Engage students with real client-based projects
Requirements:
• University degree in Sociology, Development, or Anthropology
• Significant professional experience in development
• Ability to connect with clients for Capstone projects
• Experience in running a development NGO (preferred)
• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in teaching
