Lead Instructional Designer

Position: Lead Instructional Designer at OMERS
Drive learning innovation at OMERS as the Lead in Learning and Development. Focus on designing and implementing high-impact learning experiences that cater to diverse learning needs.

In this role, reporting to the Manager, you will lead projects from conception to successful implementation. Your work will involve designing eLearning and blended training experiences, promoting learner-centered methodologies, and leveraging AI technologies for enhanced learning outcomes. You will also evaluate programs to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create impactful e-learning and instructional materials

• Oversee L&D project timelines and stakeholder engagement

• Utilize Workday LMS for efficient training delivery

• Maintain design standards across training materials

• Track training effectiveness and provide strategic insights

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Learning or related fields

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles

• Proficient in various instructional design tools

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Flexible and quick to learn emerging technologies
