300Y5Y Intermediate Arabic course. Focusing on heritage learners, this position blends linguistic skills and cultural insights, requiring native or near-native Arabic fluency. You will prepare course materials, engage with students, and evaluate their progress through exams and assignments. This role develops students’ reading and writing skills, enhancing their understanding of Arabic and Islamic studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver course content effectively

• Assist students through email and office hours

• Develop and mark assignments, tests, and exams

• Calculate and submit final grades accurately

• Order necessary readings for the course

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Arabic cultural studies or related field

• Native or near-native Arabic fluency
