ScheduleOngoing – start anytime. Program days:
Tuesdays 3:15‑5:15. Semester:
September (and continuing).
Make a difference after school – Become a Running & Reading Club Mentor! This unique after‑school program promotes literacy, healthy active living, and play for children aged 6‑13 (Grades 1‑6). Just one afternoon a week for two hours, you’ll support students through meaningful activities that help them stay in school, build self‑confidence, and form positive relationships with peers and mentors.
Responsibilities- Participate in fitness activities
- Read one‑on‑one with children
- Help serve healthy snacks
- Lead or support engaging literacy games and activities
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Adhere to the volunteer code of conduct
- Minimum 16 years old
- Comfortable commuting to the opportunity location
