Position: Assistant Teacher Role at Family Day
Join Family Day as an Assistant Teacher and impact early learners in Mary Ward. This full-time contract position supports children's development and learning from July 2 to August 28, 2026.

In this essential role, you will collaborate with E.C.E. Teachers to implement tailored educational programs for children aged 0-12 years. Your contributions will ensure a fulfilling environment where individual and diverse needs are addressed, promoting overall growth as outlined by the Child Care and Early Years Act.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the High/Scope® curriculum and program support

• Assist in planning and evaluating educational activities

• Monitor children's progress and behavioral assessments

• Provide individualized support for children with special needs

• Engage effectively with parents and fellow educators

Requirements:

• Relevant child care or educational experience

• Familiarity with early childhood education best practices

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Current medical documentation and police check

• Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR
