This term position aims to elevate educational outcomes through individually tailored teachings in Ojibwe. You will utilize various instructional strategies aligned with students' unique learning styles. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow educators to nurture supportive environments for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit learners, promoting inclusiveness and equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead inclusive program development for Indigenous education
• Tailor instruction to student needs and cultural backgrounds
• Conduct ongoing assessments to aid student success
• Support data collection for program improvements
• Provide mentoring to colleagues in implementing best practices
Requirements:
• Accredited Ontario College of Teachers Certification
• Experienced in Ojibwe language instruction
• Strong grasp of Indigenous histories and current educational issues
• Ability to connect cultural programming with classroom learning
• Proven skills in communication and collaboration
