STEM Instructor Position

Position: MakerKids STEM Instructor Position
Join Maker Kids as a STEM Instructor this fall! We're looking for tech-savvy individuals to engage with children in exciting learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math.

As a STEM Instructor, you'll guide kids aged 6-13 in fun, project-based classes focused on technology tools like Micro:bit, Scratch, and Minecraft. Candidates should have previous experience working with kids, alongside knowledge of game development and text-based coding preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead interactive classes in Coding, Robotics, and Minecraft

• Support students with project-based learning in various tech platforms

• Tailor lessons for diverse skill levels from beginners to advanced

• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

• Update parents on their child's engagement and progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience in educational roles with children

• Background in STEAM areas

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada

• Willingness to obtain First Aid & CPR certification
