Today, the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences offers more than 50 undergraduate and post-graduate programs, including a comprehensive range of Continuing Education courses and post-diploma programs.

The successful candidate will be required to teach a variety of courses in the Bachelor of Health Science – Health and Wellness and the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences programs at the North campus. Sample courses and topics may include human physiology, health science communications, knowledge translation, health promotion, and research- and/or biomedical laboratory-techniques courses. The incumbent will engage in a variety of activities that support teaching and learning and promote student success including: curriculum development;

lesson planning; assessing student progress and achievement; and class management. Beyond their teaching duties, the successful candidate will be expected to establish an effective learning environment and work as a collaborative team member contributing to the overall direction of the program. In addition, the candidate may, from time to time, be called upon to contribute to student recruitment and the promotion and marketing of the program.
