Youth Education Drop-In Worker

Empower Indigenous youth in Toronto as a full-time Education and Employment Drop-In Worker with Native Child and Family Services. Deliver impactful workshops and personalized support to help youth thrive.

This role involves providing direct services to Indigenous youth aged 16-29, focusing on education, employment, and life skills. You will facilitate cultural workshops, liaise with community agencies, and support youth in achieving their potential. The position is unionized, located at 655 Bloor St. West, and operates Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct service to Indigenous youth facing barriers

• Develop and facilitate educational and cultural workshops

• Liaise with community agencies for student pathways

• Support youth with school curriculum and resources

• Advocate for youth to secure rights and entitlements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in social services

• Minimum 2 years of youth work experience

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural programming

• Excellent ability to connect with First Nations youth

• Criminal Records Check and VSC required
