Position: SCBC Mandarin Ministry Leadership Role
Lead the Mandarin-speaking community at Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church and guide spiritual development and outreach. The Charge Pastor will engage with over 150 members in discipleship and worship.
At Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church, a trilingual congregation in Canada's multicultural Greater Toronto Area, the Mandarin Ministry Charge Pastor plays a pivotal role. This position requires a leader with a clear vision for ministry, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to fostering team collaboration within SCBC. Candidates will work closely with pastoral staff to enhance congregational life and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct ministry initiatives for Mandarin congregation

• Mentor and supervise pastoral staff effectively

• Conduct worship services and special ceremonies

• Implement educational programs and workshops

• Facilitate outreach and evangelism efforts
Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Divinity or related field

• 5-7 years in pastoral roles, preferably in Mandarin

• Mandarin fluency and English communication skills

• Proven leadership and planning abilities

• Adherence to SCBC’s mission and values
