11H3 in analytical chemistry. This in-person role focuses on teaching critical spectroscopy techniques during the fall 2026 academic term.
This position requires extensive knowledge in mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy. You will prepare course materials, deliver lectures, and conduct laboratory sessions to enhance students' analytical skills. Your ability to communicate and engage effectively will foster a rich learning environment for undergraduates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging lecture content
• Create laboratory assignments and assessments
• Collaborate with lab technicians for course preparation
• Mark student assignments and examinations
• Maintain accurate course grade records
Requirements:
• PhD in analytical chemistry or related discipline
• Experience teaching upper-level analytical chemistry courses
• Strong background in spectroscopic methods
• Excellent oral and written English skills
• At least 3 years in a post-secondary teaching role
