Position: Program Trade Manager for Support Ontario Youth
Elevate the skilled trades pathway as a Program Trade Manager with Support Ontario Youth.

Your role will foster employer and apprentice relationships while facilitating workforce development initiatives.

In this essential position, you will be instrumental in developing partnerships with employers and apprentices. Responsible for recruitment and mentorship, you will collaborate with the Apprenticeship Coordinator to ensure a seamless onboarding process for apprentices. Your outreach will also extend to community representation and promoting apprenticeship programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with employers in the Group Sponsorship program

• Recruit and onboard new apprentices and employers

• Assess workforce needs and connect candidates to opportunities

• Mentor and coach apprentices throughout their journey

• Represent SOY at industry events and community initiatives

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent

• 3–5 years in employer engagement or workforce development

• Valid G Driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Flexibility for travel across Ontario

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
