Position: Summer Coaching Role for Black Youth
Engage with youth as a Summer Student Job Coach at CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals in Scarborough, ON. Focus on career growth and enhancing job readiness in a hybrid environment.

As a Job Coach, your role will be to support Black youth facing barriers in the job market. You will provide tailored career coaching, assist with resumes, and prepare them for interviews while strengthening community ties with local employers. This position aims to uplift youth towards financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess individual skills and career interests of members

• Guide in goal setting and job application processes

• Offer mock interviews and essential preparation

• Establish relationships with local hiring organizations

• Monitor client progress and offer on-the-job support

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary social service program, returning in 2025

• Passion for career advising and coaching youth

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Familiar with job search techniques and resources

• Experience with diverse populations preferred
