The Department of Physical & Environmental Sciences is looking for a Sessional Lecturer for the course Freshwater Ecology And Biomonitoring, scheduled for September to December 2026. Candidates must have a graduate degree in Aquatic Biology and demonstrated experience in biomonitoring. Responsibilities include developing course materials, engaging students through lectures, and overseeing labs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions
• Create and evaluate course assignments and assessments
• Provide office hours for student queries
• Supervise teaching assistants and assist in evaluations
• Manage routine course-related responsibilities
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Aquatic Biology or a related field
• Experience in biomonitoring practices
• Previous teaching experience highly valued
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for developing students' knowledge in ecology
