This term position, beginning September 2026, aims to improve educational outcomes for Indigenous students through tailored programming and culturally relevant teaching methods. Candidates will work collaboratively with school staff to support students' positive identities and overall well-being. Your expertise in Indigenous Studies will guide instructional practices and foster an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster equity and inclusion in program development

• Culturally relevant instruction based on students' strengths

• Integrate Indigenous perspectives in classroom learning

• Co-plan and co-teach with colleagues

• Collaborate with Indigenous Food Sovereignty program
Requirements:

• Valid Ontario College of Teachers’ qualification

• Experience in Indigenous Studies or languages

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and languages

• Understanding of Ontario Indigenous Education policy

• Proven ability to promote diversity and inclusion
